PPWG LogoPikes Peak Weavers Guild was established in 1959 by a community of weavers in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Nestled in the shadows of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods, PPWG members are never lacking in inspiration for color, texture, and design.

PPWG encourages our friends in the weaving, spinning and dyeing community to enjoy our online newsletter. While current issues are reserved for PPWG members, a sample issue is available to the public in our online reading area.

PPWG hosts an excellent weaving software program created by Bengt Nelson: WeaveDesign. Because of Mr. Nelson's generosity, it may be downloaded free of charge, using the link above. Thanks, Bengt!

PPWG was honored to host the 2016 Colorado Weavers Day, a biennial conference for weavers, spinners, and dyers. Thank you to the speakers, organizers, and attendees for making the event a great success.

coverlet graphicPPWG members share primary interests in weaving, spinning and dyeing. Monthly meetings & programs of an educational nature reinforce and strengthen members' interests, and our many study groups welcome beginners as well as professional weavers, spinners and dyers.

The Guild usually sponsors one or two multi-day workshops featuring well-known fiber artists and educators. Additionally, members can often be found participating in regional shows, galleries and fiber demonstrations. Several of our members are also published scholars, and contribute to the online PPWG Journal.

PPWG publishes a monthly newsletter filled with interesting articles, samples and drafts. Current issues are reserved for PPWG members only. PPWG also has an outstanding library collection to which members have access.
